RCB vs KKR: Match Preview – In the IPL 2022 match 6, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off each other. The match between RCB and KKR will take place at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on March 30.
Brendon McCullum takes on Mike Hesson. Two men who oversaw New Zealand’s ascension as a white-ball powerhouse during their awesome time to the 2015 ODI World Cup final will be on opposing teams when Kolkata Knight Riders take on Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Then there’s Dinesh Karthik, who’ll be conspiring against the same teammates he was with six months ago. He’ll now be offering his Royal Challengers teammates a blueprint on how to fight those very individuals, after determining whether to bowl Sunil Narine and when to unleash Andre Russell.
Odean Smith and Bhanuka Rajapaksa, two unknowns for Royal Challengers, stood out for their ball-striking and boldness as Punjab Kings pulled off a surprise victory. With Devdutt Padikkal out of the picture, young Anuj Rawat has been given the chance to shine at the top. Before teeing off, Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli held the innings together, while Karthik found his finishing gears.
The Knight Riders, who defeated Royal Challengers in the Eliminator last year on their way to the IPL final, may have a tiny advantage thanks to a strong start. Royal Challengers has an opportunity to show that Sunday’s match was an exception.
Both teams have assembled their rosters as a result of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. The match will be exciting since both sides have outstanding players with a lot of experience. KKR’s bowling and batting departments are both rather good, while RCB’s bowling has to improve. The Kolkata Knight Riders have a better probability of winning the match.
RCB had already lost their first match against PBKS and will be eager for a win. The batting line-up was flawless, but the bowling line-up was a touch off. 206 was too much for the squad to handle. In terms of bowling, Mohammed Siraj, Harshal Patel, and Wanindu Hasaranga all failed. For RCB, Dinesh Karthik completed the game on a high note. In their upcoming encounter against KKR, the bowlers must undoubtedly step up their game.
Playing 11: Faf du Plessis (capt), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Sherfane Rutherford, Shahbaz Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, David Willey, Mohammed Siraj, Sidharth Kaul
On their first day, KKR played well with both bat and ball in hand versus CSK. The bowlers kept the CSK hitters at bay, allowing them to score 131 runs. Later, the batters went about their business and the match was completed without incident. On his KKR leadership debut, Shreyas Iyer was astute. His bowling variations were important in the team’s triumph.
Playing 11: Venkatesh Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer (C), Nitish Rana, Sam Billings/Mohammad Nabi, Sheldon Jackson (wk), Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Umesh Yadav, Shivam Mavi, Varun Chakravarthy
