The major movie is a biopic about Mumbai police officer Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was killed in the 26/11 terrorist attacks in 2008. The film depicts Sandeep’s childhood, his motivation to join the forces, his parents’ inhibitions, his love life, and finally, his rise in the NSG as a Training officer, as well as how he was martyred in the terror attacks.

Major Movie Cast

The movie has flawless casting across the board. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was played superbly by Adivi Sesh. He immersed himself in the role. Whether it’s his physique, army drills, or the final mission, his dedication to the character is evident. In emotional sequences involving his family and a girl friend, he also did a decent job.

On the other hand, the teen portions appeared to be a little off, but this was not a major issue. In the role of Sandeep’s girlfriend/wife, Saiee Manjrekar looks great. She has a limited character, but she does a good job with it. Sobhitha Dhulipalla plays a special role as a hostage Pramoda Reddy, and she is excellent as always.

Prakash Raj finally gets a good role after a long time and delivers an outstanding performance. He narrates the story, and his final dialogue raises eyebrows. Revathi is excellent in her role, but it is a minor one. In their limited roles, Murali Sharma as a commander and Anish Kuruvilla as a hotel manager work well.

Great movie

Major is about Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s sacrifice, but the film’s most touching and endearing moments come from watching him grow up – from a young boy dreaming of joining the Navy to realizing his love for the uniform when he joins the Indian Army.

Major

Because of this first phase, Major succeeds as a drama rather than just an action film about a patriot. There is a lot of action when the story shifts to the Taj Mahal Hotel. The build-up to the terror attacks, as well as how it allows Sandeep to transform from a young man to a fearless soldier, adds to the realism of the situation.

Major is an emotional film with which you can connect, despite its predictable plot. Adivi Sesh, who also co-wrote the movie, is to be commended. He made it clear that this wasn’t going to be another jingoistic war movie.

Major isn’t the first film to be made about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on November 26, 2001, which turned the city into a war zone. Its focus on the late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life sets it apart from the other films.
