KKR vs RCB IPL 2020 Match Preview and Predicted XI | Will Sunil Narine Play?

Kolkata Knight Riders will face off Royal Challengers in the 39th match of Indian Premier League 2020 on Wednesday at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Both the teams are doing well and will come to play this match after being victorious in their previous game. While RCB is at Number 3 in Points Table with 6 wins from 9 matches, KKR stands at Number 4 with 5 wins from 9 matches. Kolkata will look to take revenge after losing the first match against Bangalore this season whereas Bangalore will look to win and confirm their place in playoffs.

RCB dominant in first match this season
In the first match played between these two sides in IPL 2020, Virat Kohli’s side seemed to be in complete control during both the innings. AB de Villiers played a special innings followed by brilliant bowling performance by Chris Morris and Washington Sundar.

Strong Batting Line-up
Both the teams have a very strong batting line-up. Royal Challengers have the experience of Aaron Finch at the top followed by two of the top batsman in World Cricket-Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. On the other hand, Knight Riders have the best finishers like Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell (may have to sit out due to injury). KKR will be dependent on their Trump Card Lockie Ferguson to stop the RCB batsman whereas Bangalore will rely on their bowlers Chris Morris and Yuzvendra Morris.

Changes to Playing 11
All eyes will be on Two Carribean players-Sunil Narine and Andre Russell as both Narine’s bowling action had been reported and he has not played a game since then. Although Narine’s name has been removed from warning list recently and he is likely to play against RCB. Russell suffered a hamstring injury and it was clearly visible when he was bowling that final over against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Pitch
The wicket at Sheikh Zayed Stadium will have something for the batsman as well as the bowlers. Fast Bowlers will get some swing in the initial overs when the ball is new. So batsman need to take sometime before going for those big shots. Dew can also play a big role in the second innings.
