IPL 2020 MI vs DC: Can Delhi confirm Playoff Spot today ?

Two of the most successful teams of Indian Premier League 2020, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will square off in the first match of the double header on Saturday at the Dubai international cricket stadium. Mumbai has already qualified for the playoffs and Delhi would be looking to confirm playoff spot today as well as take revenge for the loss against Mumbai earlier this season. For Mumbai, Rohit Sharma’s return to squad looks unlikely and Kieron Pollard may continue to lead the team in his absence.

MI vs DC Match 1
In the previous match between these two teams this season Mumbai defeated Delhi by 5 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan played a superb knock but it went in vain as Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav’s partnership sealed the win for Capitals.

Changes to Squad: Having qualified for the playoffs already, Mumbai may look to give chance to few players who have been sitting on bench and not yet got the opportunity to showcase their talent. On the other hand, Delhi has lost three matches in a row and needs to make some significant changes to get back to winning ways. Prithvi Shaw is likely to replace Ajinkya Rahane as opener and Delhi may also make some changes in bowling department against the strong Mumbai batting lineup. It remains to be seen if Rohit Sharma makes his comeback after suffering hamstring injury, although Rohit would not be looking to take any risk as Mumbai has already qualified for Playoffs.
