5 players to watch out for in RCB vs RR

It’s RCB vs RR! The second qualifier of IPL 2022 will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The winner will advance to the final, where Gujarat Titans will be waiting. Rajasthan Royals had lost to Gujarat Titans in the first qualifier and Bangalore reached here after winning against Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator played at Eden Gardens.

The following are 5 players to watch out for in RCB vs RR:

Jos Buttler:

Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler is currently the leading run-scorer in this season having scored 718 runs in just 15 games with an average of 51.29 and strike rate of 148.35. Jos has scored three centuries along with four half-centuries in this season. He is the top contender to win the orange cap in IPl 2022.  He can score big in the match between RCB vs RR.

Rajat Patidar:

Rajat Patidar has played some match-winning knocks this season for RCB after coming as a player replacement. He has scored 275 runs in just 6 innings he played this season with an average of 55.00 and a strike rate of 156.25. Patidar is coming in this game after scoring a magnificent century against Lucknow Super Giants in Eliminator. Along with a century, he also has a half-century to his name.

Yuzvendra Chahal:

Rajasthan Royals leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is currently the leading wicket-taker in this season. He has taken 26 wickets in 15 matches at an average of 17.77 and an impressive economy of 7.70. He is one of the strongest contenders for winning the purple cap in this season. This Ex-RCB player can be a threat to Royal Challengers Banglore.

Wanindu Hasaranga:

Hasaranga has been a standout bowler for RCB this season. So far in the league, the Sri Lankan spinner has 25 wickets in 15 matches at an economy rate of 7.62. He is at the second spot just behind Yuzvendra Chahal on the purple cap list. His match-up with Sanju Samson will be interesting to watch.

Harshal Patel:

In this season as well, last year’s purple cap winner Harshal Patel has continued his stellar performance. He has taken 19 wickets in 14 matches with an average of 20.05 and an impressive economy rate of 7.57 because he bowls death-over for RCB. His spell can also be a game-changer in the RCB vs RR match.
