Afghanistan is at number three with 100 points out of 12 matches with 10 wins while Pakistan is at number four with 90 points out of 15 matches with 9 wins. With 80 points from 21 matches, West Indies are at number five. The India team was previously at number five, but due to Pakistan’s victory over the West Indies, India dropped out of the top five and is now in the sixth position. However, this will not affect Team India because it will host the World Cup in 2023.

On the other hand, there are teams like Australia, Ireland, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, South Africa, Zimbabwe and the Netherlands that trail India. In February, India played the last ODI match against the West Indies. In the England tour, Team India will play 50-over matches and will strive to improve its position on the points table during that time.
