He said that after the match, Ashwin had apologized to him and admitted that he should have run that run. He scored one half-century in this IPL season that came against Royal Challengers Bangalore. It was a low-scoring match, with RR losing their top order early on. Parag then came into the picture and showed off his talent and skills, scoring 56* off 31 balls to drive RR to a respectable total of 144/8. Apart from that, he did not put an impact on the bat and failed to play the role of the finisher this season.
