RCB supports MI by changing their profile picture
The Delhi Capitals must defeat the Mumbai Indians in order to qualify for the Indian Premier League playoffs in 2022. The Capitals will play the Lucknow Super Giants in an eliminator match if they win, but if Rishabh Pant’s team loses, RCB will qualify for the playoffs.
RCB fans are naturally rooting for Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians to upset the Delhi Capitals, and the Bangalore franchise’s official Twitter account has now joined the debate. They have changed their profile picture to blue to support Mumbai Indians.

Previously, wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik shared an old photo of himself wearing a MI jersey during his time with the side. He scored 238 runs for MI in the 2012 Indian Premier League. The next season, he improved even more, scoring 510 runs to help MI win the IPL title, Karthik’s only IPL success to date.

The current situation for RCB
The RCB is presently fourth in the IPL 2022 standings, with a negative Net Run Rate (-0.253), while the Delhi Capitals are two points behind with a positive NRR (+0.255). Bangalore moved up to fourth place in the rankings after a facile 8-wicket win against table-toppers Gujarat Titans earlier this week. As a consequence of their victory, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad were eliminated from the playoff competition.

Why RCB is supporting MI?
DC will move up to the fourth place with a win, guaranteeing Rishabh and his team a playoff position. They will dethrone RCB with a strong net run rate. As a result, Faf du Plessis and his teammates are supporting MI to finish their campaign strong. If Mumbai wins, RCB will progress to their third consecutive playoffs, while DC would be eliminated.
