Can Rajasthan Royals win the IPL 2022?
Rajasthan Royals had a great season till now in the TATA IPL 2022. They are in second place at the points table and have lost just two matches in their eight games. The team is having a great season this year as both the orange and the purple cap holders are from Rajasthan Royals.
Rajasthan Royals won the inaugural season and since then they are waiting for a victory again. But can Rajasthan Royals win the IPL 2022? To answer this question, we are pointing out some of the major reasons for their success below.

Jos Buttler in Rajasthan Royals
It is very obvious to say that Buttler is one of the major reasons that will help the Royals to win this season. Jos Buttler has been overpowering at the top of the order this season, scoring 499 runs in eight games and scoring three hundred. In terms of the opposition, getting past him is the first step in upsetting the Royals. Rajasthan might win their second IPL title if they reach the final and Buttler performs well. This season, he has an average of above 70, which is excellent.

After being with Royal Challengers Bangalore from 2014, Yuzvendra Chahal was released, and during the mega auction, he was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 6.5 crore. He’s been performing really well lately, and he’s presently wearing the purple cap. Chahal has taken 18 wickets in eight matches so far with an economy of 7.09.

Buttler is practically entirely responsible for the situation in the batting order, and if he fails, the bowlers carry full responsibility and help their side win. With the new ball, Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna always prove their value, followed by Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin in the middle overs. For the opposing batters, this is a very difficult bowling unit to deal with.
Chahal has been scooping up wickets for the sheer joy of it, while Ashwin has contributed to the tying down of opposing batsmen. Boult’s experience in IPL will always come in good, while Prasidh has risen through the ranks during the competition. Kuldeep Sen, Navdeep Saini, and Obed McCoy, for example, have all contributed when called upon.

All these reasons are enough for Rajashtan Royals to win the IPL 2022. However, if Chahal and Buttler fail in the playoffs then it will be really difficult for the team to win. With that said, they do not possess any strong all-rounder as well. So keeping this in mind is important too.
