virat kohli anushka
Team India is currently in Australia where Skipper Virat Kohli will lead the side in T20, ODI and Test Series over next few months. Although he will be returning back home in India after 1st test as Anushka is likely to deliver their baby during that time. Indian players including Captain Kohli wished the fans via Social Media on the occasion of Diwali and then a controversy started. Kohli put a video post on social media where he urged everyone not to burst crackers as it will cause a lot of pollution. But his message did not seem to go well with some and they started trolling him, although Congress Spokesperson Udit Raj Supported Kohli via Twitter platform. Quite surprisingly, the Congress leader posted another tweet in Hindi where he referred to the Indian captain as Anushka Sharma’s dog after which it became a trending social media hashtag.
Virat Fans Furious
The Congress Spokesperson intention may not be to hurt Kohli or his fans but the tweet has angered the fans. Virat’s fans started slamming Udit for his post after which he posted another tweet. In this tweet Udit said that some people were using abusive language on his posts and he is surprised that no action has been taken against such People. He further wrote that these people are saying dog is bad whereas nobody can be more loyal than a dog.
No Reaction From Virat
As expected there has been no reaction from Kohli yet on this matter and it is highly unlikely that he will respond. In the past also Kohli has stayed silent on such controversies and he would rather want to keep his focus on his game for the all important series against the Aussies.
