Urvashi Rautela Trolled For Attending India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Match

Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela was seen in the VIP box during the India-Pakistan match on Sunday. Recently, Rautela and Indian cricket star Rishabh Pant had a war of words on social media after the former indirectly mentioned him in an interview. Urvashi had said that she does not watch cricket in an ‘ask me anything’ round on her Instagram stories. When a fan asked her about her favourite cricketer, she said that she does watch cricket at all and  does not know any cricketers but she has deep respect for Sachin sir and Virat sir. But still she came to the stadium to watch this big game.

Pant Excluded from Playing XI

Surprisingly, Pant was not part of the playing XI on Sunday as Team India decided to play Dinesh Karthik ahead of him. Although, Pant was cheering the team from the dugout but his fans were angry with his omission from the team as he could have answered Urvashi through his bat had he played. With ten overs being bowled during Pakistan batting, Rautela appeared on the big screen standing in VIP box . Memes started flooding on social media after everyone saw her in the stands.

What happened-

Urvashi had recently revealed in an interview that Pant was so desperate to meet her and once waited for hours in an hotel to meet her. Pant later replied by indirectly referring to her and said that she should leave him alone.

India Beat Pakistan

India won the toss and captain Rohit Sharma decided to bowl first. Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for  a mere 147. Bhuvneshwar  Kumarwas the pick of the bowlers followed by Hardik Pandya. But this chase did not prove to be as easy as many would have thought and it took some brilliance from Pandya to seal the victory in the last over.
