5. Fardeen Khan

Once a popular Bollywood actor, Fardeen Khan’s career witnessed a revival after a 12-year hiatus. However, in 2001, his life took a tumultuous turn when he was apprehended in possession of 9 grams of cocaine, resulting in a sensational drug bust. However, in 2012, all charges against him were dropped, and he was granted immunity in the drug case. To overcome his habit, Khan voluntarily enrolled in a de-addiction course, signifying his determination to leave the past behind.

4. Sara Ali Khan

The 27-year-old daughter of a prominent actor found herself caught in the NCB’s crosshairs during the investigation into the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea Chakraborty, Rajput’s girlfriend, claimed that Sara had offered her vodka and marijuana, although she declined the substances. Subsequently, NCB summoned Sara for questioning, although she was not officially charged in connection with the case.

The sudden and shocking demise of Sushant Singh Rajput sent shockwaves throughout the nation and prompted NCB’s probe into the matter. As investigations progressed, numerous links between actors and drug dealers within the Bollywood industry came to light. Rhea Chakraborty, rumored to be Rajput’s girlfriend, found herself at the center of this storm. 

On September 8, 2020, she was arrested by the NCB on charges of drug consumption and procurement, potentially implicating her in supplying drugs to Rajput. However, NCB failed to substantiate allegations of drug possession or consumption against her. After spending a month in custody, she was granted bail on October 7, 2020, but the case against her remains open, leaving her future uncertain.

2. Sanjay Dutt

A well-known actor in Bollywood, Sanjay Dutt has been remarkably candid about his past struggles with drug addiction. Unlike most celebrities who prefer to keep such matters private, Dutt openly acknowledged his phase of drug dependency. His confessions were not limited to interviews but also manifested on the silver screen in the biopic film “Sanju,” portrayed by the talented actor Ranbir Kapoor. 

Even before his involvement in the 1993 bomb blast case, Dutt had already served a five-month prison term in 1982 for possessing illicit substances. His journey serves as a stark reminder of the challenges individuals face when battling addiction.

1. Aryan Khan

The 24-year-old son of the renowned Bollywood figure Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as the “King Khan,” made headlines when he was arrested by the NCB during a raid on a cruise ship near Mumbai in October 2022. Following a month in custody, he was granted bail. The NCB charge sheet, filed on March 27, 2022, ultimately absolved him of guilt in the drug cruise case. Finally, on May 27, 2022, Aryan Khan received a clean chit, officially clearing his name from the controversial drug-related accusations.
