The film, which was dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada as a pan-India movie, chronicles a pre-Independence fictional story centered around two real Indian revolutionaries in the 1920s — Alluri Sitarama Raju played by Ram Charan, and Komaram Bheem played by N T Rama Rao Jr. The film, which also prominently featured Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, was released to the public in IMAX, IMAX 3D, 3D, and Dolby Cinema formats. RRR has made over Rs 1,200 crore at the box office globally, making it one of the most successful Indian movies of 2022.

Pushpa and RRR

Following Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise-Part One, RRR is the second south Indian language film with Hindi dubbing to gain popularity recently. Rajamouli’s big vision was executed well, there were gravity-defying stunts, supporting performances by the leading men, and MM Keeravani’s song “Naacho Naacho” (or “Naatu Naatu” in Telugu) was liked by most people. The film was made on a big budget.

Two months after its worldwide theatrical release, Netflix released the Hindi version of the Telugu film RRR. On the same day, ZEE5 began streaming the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of “RRR.”
