Tata IPL 2022 set to Kick off on March 26

The broadcasters & BCCI have formally agreed to start Tata IPL on 26th March 2022. Earlier the BCCI was not ready to commence the Tata IPL 2022 on 26th March but later on STAR’s request BCCI changed their mind. This year’s IPL will start a new title sponsor in the form of India’s Tata Industries. The broadcasters would be relieved that now they can keep a double-header on 27th March on Sunday.

Tata IPL 2022 is going to take place on 26th March to 29th May 2022.

The entire IPL is going to conducted in Mumbai & Pune. Tata IPL 2022 is going to commence on 26th March 2022. All the matches are going to take place in Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium & D.Y. Patil Sports Academy. While the remaining matches are scheduled to take place at Pune’s stadium. BCCI’s decision to conduct entire Tata IPL 2022 comes in the wake of Omicron. It is understood that BCCI would release the brand new schedule of Tata IPL 2022 in the first week of March.

Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise would be over the moon as now they would get home advantage for the entire IPL. The other franchises would be angry over BCC’s decision as there won’t be any home advantage. MI wouldn’t have even thought of such a scenario where they would get an unexpected home advantage. The conditions at Brabourne Stadium & D.Y. Patil Stadium are by no means alien to MI. It would be a bit early, yet MI have an upper hand even before when a ball is bowled.
