Rajat Patidar
On Wednesday, May 25, Rajat Patidar, 28, lit up the Eden Gardens with one of the finest knocks ever witnessed in the IPL knockout stages. The Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman hammered 112 not out off only 54 balls in a spectacular display of courageous big-hitting against the Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator.
Rajat Patidar demonstrated he’s in it for the long term by smashing a century on one of cricket’s most important platforms that RCB supporters will remember for a long time. Patidar’s knock helped RCB end their Eliminator curse and clinch a Qualifier 2 place against Rajasthan Royals, as well as knocking out the Lucknow Super Giants.
Everyone is praising Rajat’s innings. However, very few know that he has sacrificed his marriage by postponing it further because he was called by the RCB team.

Patidar has gotten a lot of attention, with Virat Kohli, India’s most famous batsman, calling him “one to watch in the future.” Patidar, on the other hand, was not supposed to be heading an RCB batting attack that includes Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Dinesh Karthik are one of the most significant IPL matches at Eden Gardens. He was only a replacement.
Rajat’s father, Manohar Patidar, stated that the idea about his marriage was on May 9. It was intended to be a modest gathering, and he had reserved a hotel in Indore as well.

Rajat’s father went on to say that the wedding was not meant to be a big deal, therefore they didn’t order invitation cards. He had reserved a hotel for a small number of guests, but the reservation was made in advance because the celebration would be held in July.
Patidar has been given permission to start at No. 3 for RCB in the IPL in 2022 and challenge the rivals. With a strike rate of above 156, the Madhya Pradesh batsman has 275 runs in seven matches for RCB. So far, he’s appeared in 39 first-class matches, 43 List A games, and 38 T20s. Patidar’s 112 not out was complimented by former captain Virat Kohli, who called it “one of the finest knocks by a player in a big-ticket IPL competition.”
