Prasidh Krishna got trolled as David Miller struck three sixes in the last over

The first IPL 2022 qualifier match at Eden Gardens was thrilling as Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in the final over to book their spot in the final. Gujarat’s hero was David Miller and captain Hardik Pandya, whose partnership was the crucial factor in the team’s victory. Both batted aggressively in the final overs to help their team win the match.

Prasidh Krishna conceded three sixes in the last over

On Tuesday, fans trolled Rajasthan Royals pacer Prasidh Krishna, who was bowling the deciding last over of the IPL 2022 Qualifier 1 after getting struck by three sixes in a row by Gujarat Titans’ David Miller. Miller slammed back-to-back maximums on the first three balls against Krishna in the qualifier 1 of IPL 2022, taking GT to the final in their debut season in style. 

Although till the last over, it was expected that Rajasthan Royals might win the match. Gujarat needed 16 runs to win in the last over and the match was 50-50, but Prasidh Krishna did the job of sinking Rajasthan’s loot. Krishna was a hot topic among Rajasthan Royals fans, who felt that he was the main factor in the team’s defeat.

David Miller and Hardik Pandya played winning knock 

GT’s captain Hardik Pandya made 40* in 27 balls with 5 fours and David Miller led the recovery and then took the team to the win. Especially David Miller was brutal in particular. He hit 5 sixes and 3 fours in his 38-ball 68* and three of those came in the last over off Prasidh Krishna, who had 16 runs to defend in 6 balls, but the match was over in the first three balls itself.

Rajasthan Royals Hopes are Alive for the Finals

After the heartbreaking defeat in Qualifier 1, the Rajasthan Royals team still has a chance to enter the finals of IPL 2022. They will play against the winner of the eliminator fixture between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challenger. The losing team will get eliminated and the winner will advance to qualifier 2 and face RR. The winner of qualifier 2 will get into the finals of IPL 2022 and face Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemdabad.
