Mumbai Police to Probe Rhea Chakraborty’s expenditure over last few months
Ever since the news of Sushant Singh Rajput committing suicide came out, everyone has been speculating as to why the actor took such a drastic step. As of now, the Mumbai police has been investigating the case to know the real reason behind Sushant ending his life. So far, police have interrogated several people associated with the late actor including his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, his close friends, YRF casting director Shanoo Sharma, co-star Sanjana Sanghi, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and others.
Mumbai Police probes Rhea Chakraborty’s spending Habits
According to reports, Rhea’s expenditure over last few months is likely to be under the scanner. According to a report published in a renowned website, Rhea has been spending Sushant’s money and evidence for the same has also come to the forefront. Now the police is looking out for the amount of money that has been spent.
On the other hand, Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar have been accused of harassing Sushant on social media on numerous counts. These charges have come to light following Sushant’s death, but the police right now does not have enough reasons for both of them to be questioned. None of the people who have recorded their statements so far have accused Karan of harassing Sushant in their statement. According to the police, Sushant used to get upset with the blind news items coming in the media. However, police are all set to investigate Sushant’s doctor and sister Mitu.
Rhea urges for a CBI inquiry into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death
Rhea on Thursday requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to order a CBI inquiry to know what pressures prompted actor Sushant Singh Rajput to take the extreme step of suicide. In the initial investigation, Mumbai Police had found that the actor was under medication for depression. For the first time, Rhea publicly addressed herself as Sushant’s Girlfriend via a tweet and wrote that she had complete faith in the government and a CBI inquiry would help bring justice to the case.

Rhea Chakraborty gets rape and death threat
When Rhea got rape and murder threats, she finally expressed her anger in open. She wrote that she had been called a Gold Digger, a murderer and was even slut shamed but she had kept quiet. But now enough is enough.The death of Sushant Singh Rajput has hugely angered the netizens and some have filled Rhea’s posts with their toxic and negative comments targeting her account in particular. However the actress recently broke her silence when she shared a screenshot of the message she received in her Instagram message section. In the message, she has been threatened by rape and even murder. Seeing such messages and comments from the people, some celebrities from the industry were appalled and urged the officials to look into this matter. Bhumi Pednekar and Saqib Saleem told Rhea to stay strong as she made a comment. While Kriti Kharbanda also expressed her anger and requested the authorities to take action. As her friends told her to stay strong in this difficult time, some of her fans are also seen consoling her in the comment section.
Shekhar Suman comes out in support of Rhea
When Rhea requested the Union Home Minister to transfer the case to the CBI, Shekhar Suman praised her for this and said that it is a good sign that Rhea and other people are showing up. He further said that the movement demanding justice for Sushant was gaining momentum and would expose a lot of ugly and unknown truths. . Shekhar had started the ‘Justice for Sushant Forum’ and had also travelled to Patna last month and met the late actor’s family. Since then, he has been trying to reach out to politicians to amplify the demand for a CBI inquiry into the death. The case is currently being handled by the Mumbai Police.

Since Sushant’s death, the fans started expressing their rage on social media and the turmoil simply continued to increase. Right from calling out Bollywood bigwigs to slamming star kids, netizens were brutally trolling them on social media.
Recently, Rhea had changed her WhatsApp display picture a month after the death of the late Actor. Her new display picture shows the two of them together during good times. Rhea and Sushant were rumoured to be in a relationship for more than a year and were often spotted together in a restaurant or some vacation spot. Rhea had attended Sushant’s funeral and had completely gone off social media for about a month after his death. Rhea was among the people who recorded their statements with Mumbai Police regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. In her statement, the actress revealed that Sushant had ended his contract with Yash Raj Films and had asked her to do the same.
