MI vs CSK IPL 2020: Chris Lynn may replace Rohit Sharma against CSK

Two of the most successful teams in Indian Premier League history, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will be up against each other in match 41 of IPL 2020. The match will be played at Sharjah cricket stadium where many high scoring matches have been seen so far this season. The inaugural match of IPL 2020 was also played between these two sides in which Chennai came out victorious after a special knock from Faf du Plessis. At this stage of the tournament, MS Dhoni’s side is almost out of playoff contention as they have won just 3 out of the 10 games whereas Mumbai have won 6 out of 9 games and one more win will likely seal playoff spot for them.

Changes to Squad
Rohit Sharma has a thigh injury, Mumbai may not want to risk playing him and may bring in Chris Lynn for this particular contest. Chennai skipper Dhoni had said after their previous match that they will give chance to the players who have not had too many opportunities up till now. So CSK may include the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Narayan Jagadeesan on Friday.
