Lock Upp: Munawar Faruqui claims Katrina Kaif broke his heart
Munawar Faruqui, a Lock Upp participant, recently fooled both his fellow contestant Azma Fallah and the audience by telling a narrative about the love of his life. The comic had the audience thoroughly engrossed in his chat until he opened up about a girl he admired who had recently married. Only towards the end did he reveal that the girl is none other than Katrina Kaif, who married Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021.
Munawar Faruqui fooled everyone
On Tuesday, Alt Balaji posted a new Lock Upp ad on its Instagram account with the message, “He got us all, didn’t he?” Azma begins the video by asking Munawar whether there is anybody he likes outside of the captivity-based reality program. The comedian responded with a somber “hmm,” forcing Azma to taunt him.

Azma then questioned Munawar, “so you never told her,” to which he replied that he is unsure if he loves her or not. He went on to say, “How do I tell, she also doesn’t know about my feelings?” She did, however, marry.
When Azma asked him why he still liked her after she married, Munawar said, “Of course I loved her, my heart was completely torn.” She had only been married for 3-4 months.
When Azma showed sympathy for Munawar and inquired about his reaction, he said, “What would be my reaction?” I’m referring to her highly publicized marriage story. I felt awful. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t ignore it since every time I opened my phone, all I saw were her wedding photos and headlines. Only her wedding announcement was making the rounds on the internet. Munawar eventually ended the relationship, stating Azma, “You must have known her, do you know Katrina Kaif?” Azma eventually realized what he was up to and requested him to stop taunting her. Munawar went on to add that he liked Katrina and adored her.
