Former West Indies player Chris Gayle holds the record of smashing fastest century in Indian Premier League. He reached the three-figure-mark in just 30 balls during sixth season of IPL. He hammered the now defunct Pune Warriors bowlers all over the park. Gayle eventually went on to score 175 runs in just 66 deliveries in that match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on 23 April 2013.

2. Yusuf Pathan
As far as Indian players are concerned, Yusuf Pathan tops the list. The all-rounder scored 100 runs off 37 balls, playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Brabourne Stadium on 13 March 2010.

3. David Miller
At the third spot is South Africa’s explosive batsman David Miller who scored a famous 101 knock off 38 balls. On May 06, 2013, at Mohali, Playing for Kings XI Punjab’s (now Punjab Kings) Miller orchestrated a stunning ton against Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru). Miller’s innings included seven towering sixes and eight boundaries, helping KXIP reach the target of 191 in just 18 overs.

4. Travis Head
On April 15, 2024, Australian cricketer Travis Head hit the fastest century in IPL 2024. Head reached three-figure mark in just 39 balls against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.


5. Will Jacks
On April 28, 2024, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Will Jacks delivered an incredible performance, scoring a century in just 41 balls against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium. His innings included five fours and an incredible ten sixes. RCB successfully chased down the target of 201, thanks to Jacks who scored 56 runs off the last 12 balls he faced.
