IND vs SL: Paddikal, Sakariya Receive Maiden Call-up in Shikhar Dhawan Led Team

Team India for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka has been announced. As expected , Shikhar Dhawan will be the captain for the ODI as well as the T20 Series. Bhuvneshwar Kumar who recently returned to Competitive cricket after injury has been given a new role as vice-captain of the team for the series.

Opportunity for Uncapped Players
Most of the regular players will be in England which gives an opportunity for many youngsters to showcase their talent in international cricket. Sanju Samson is making a comeback in shorter format of the game. The likes of Devdutt Paddikal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chetan Sakariya will look to cement their place in side if giving opportunity to play in the final playing 11. There will be five net bowlers also in addition to the 20 member team. These consist of Arshdeep Singh, Sandeep Warrier, Ishan Porel, Simranjeet Singh and Sai Kishore.
