Bollywood Actresses Mobiles seized after interrogation by NCB
In the ongoing drugs probe in Mumbai, Narcotics Control Bureau questioned big Bollywood stars like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan regarding the drugs chat as their names had been taken by drug peddlers during earlier investigation. NCB officials have also seized mobile phones of these Bollywood actresses and sent it for forensic analysis. NCB had issued summon to Deepika, Shraddha, Sara and Rakul Preet Singh to appear before the agency for questioning. Fashion designer Simone Khambatta and KWAN talent manager Jaya Saha had also been already called in for questioning.
After receiving summons from NCB, Deepika and Sara arrived in Mumbai from Goa separately with their respective families. Sara was accompanied by her mother Amrita and brother Ibrahim, whereas Deepika was accompanied by husband Ranveer Singh. According to reports, Deepika was the admin of the drugs chat group in 2017 and she has accepted that she was part of the chats in question but denied consuming or peddling drug. According to sources, the actress broke down thrice during NCB questioning before the agency officials told her not to play Emotional Card.
Sara and Shraddha both arrived late than the scheduled time for the NCB investigation. According to sources, both the actresses told officials that Sushant used to consume drugs. However, both of them have said that they themselves don’t consume any kind of drugs.
Rakulpreet and Shraddha’s whatsapp chats from 2017 were recovered while Deepika’s chats with her manager Karishma Prakash included words like HASH and MAAL. On Friday, Rakul appeared before the NCB to depose and left after nearly four hours of questioning. Rakul admitted that the chats recovered between her and Rhea were correct but she further revealed told the agency that the drugs recovered from her residence belong to Rhea Chakraborty. Rakul claimed that Rhea would get drugs delivered at her residence and the stuff recovered from her house was not hers.
Karan Johar Statement
Karan Johar has been in news as well because of the viral video of the party held at his house in which stars from the bollywood stars are seen and as visible from the video and information from sources, starts are reportedly under the influence of drugs. But Johar put out a statement on his social media accounts in which he has denied consumption of any kind of narcotic susbtances during that party. He further stated that neither Anubhav Chopra nor Kshitij Ravi Prasad are his aides or close aides. He wrote that Kshitij was employed on a contractual basis with Dharma Productions sister company Dharmatic entertainment and that Anubhav is not an employee of the company and was only briefly associated between 2011 and 2013 for two different films.

On the other hand, Rhea Chakraborty is in Byculla jail and will have to remain under judicial custody till October 6. Rhea has moved the Bombay High Court claiming innocence in the drug case for which she has been arrested.
Many insiders and actresses like Kangana Ranaut have revealed that majority of stars in Bollywood consume drugs and it is a common part of B-Town parties. With the name of actresses like Deepika, Shraddha and Sara coming out, many people especially their fans were left shocked.
What questions were these stars asked ?
Deepika Padukone was initially asked informal questions like tell about yourself which is surprising as she is a huge star. But then she was asked about the 2017 whatsapp drugs chat in which she was reportedly said to be the admin of the whatsapp group. Deepika was asked about her writing ‘Maal Hai Kya’ in that chat to which she replied that she meant cigarettes. About her use of word ‘Hash’, Deepika said that she referred to the brand of cigarette via this word.Although after Deepika left, sources said that NCB was not satisfied with the answers of both Deepika and her manager Karishma and both of them may be called again for questioning later. But Deepika refused to have consumed drugs herself.
On the other Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan also denied consuming drugs themselves. Both of them accepted that they had gone to Sushant’s farmhouse but did not take any drugs. Shraddha said that she used CBD oil for external use only.
