3 Key Players in KKR vs CSK Clash

Tata IPL 2022 is going to commence on 26th March. The defending champions CSK (Chennai Super Kings) are going to face KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders). Following are the 3 pivotal players who would undoubtedly have an impact:

(1) MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni has resigned from his captaincy. It would be interesting to see one of the world’s best finisher play as there are no added responsibilities. The legendary wicket-keeper batter would hope that he finds his old groove. He still is a vital cog in CSK’s leadership where he would help and guide the “Rockstar” (Ravindra Jadeja) often proclaimed by the Late Shane Warne.

Undoubtedly CSK fans would miss their “Thala” as a Leader. Who knows we might see a Vintage Version of the Iconic Wicket-keeper batter. All in all, the wicket-keeper batter still has a lot to offer in tiering circumstances.

(2) Ravindra Jadeja

The left arm off spinner would be over the moon as he hasn’t captained in his career till now. Jadeja knows that he needs to play responsibly as his 4 overs now would be extremely important. He is a novice in terms of captaincy which the opponent would be wary off. He would get ample assistance from Coach Stephen Fleming and from one of the Greatest Captains of all the Time (MS Dhoni). The left arm off spinner knows that he has a tough task on hands as defending the title won’t be easy given the kind of teams are there. The opening match against KKR would test his captaincy as that match is expected to be a blockbuster.

(3) Shreyas Iyer

KKR’s  new skipper Shreyas Iyer would be amazed as well as unhappy. Earlier he was a part of Delhi Capitals (DC) squad and he had taken them to finals in 2020 edition. But an injury forced DC management to hand over the captaincy reins to Rishabh Pant. During the IPL Retention 2022, DC parted ways with Iyer. KKR bought the eclectic batter for 12.25 Crores. The Skipper would be roaring to go and prove a point that he isn’t finished yet.  His clash with Ravindra Jadeja on 26th March would be a grueling one as who knows KKR could spoil the party of  CSK fans.
